Cecilia Wood, also known as CC, is a retired City of Pueblo Government employee who retired in 2003 after 30 years of service in the public sector serving as Payroll Administrator for the City’s Police, Fire, and General Service.  Additionally, CC volunteered her time serving as the Treasurer and Vice President for the City’s Union. and served on the contract negotiating committee for the General Service City Employees.  

CC became actively involved in the Miss America-Colorado Pageant System in the late 1990s.  From 1998 thru 2003, she held the franchise for the Miss America Organization and was a Certified Miss America Judge and Director for the Jr. Teen/Miss Teen Pueblo Pageant.  As the Director of the Miss Pueblo County Scholarship Pageant since 1999, her main focus is working with the girls in the pageant system, teaching them self-confidence, integrity, and how to give back to the community by volunteering their time making their community a better place to live.

CC was active in the Pueblo Youth Hockey Association, from 2000 -2008, and served in the capacity of Tournament Director and Treasurer and also served on the Board of the Pueblo Youth Project and CHASE Middle School Program.  Community involvement such as Relay for Life, FBLA Judging, Empty Bowls and Destination Imagination, Senior Life Festival, receiving the “Community Service Award” for outstanding service to seniors in Southern Colorado in 2012.  In 2016 C.C. was a nominee for the YWCA's "Tribute to Women" which shows her active involvement in the community. In October of 2021 she was awarded theYWCA's "Triumph Over Adversity" Woman of the Year Award.  CC has been a DECA judge for the area high school competitions and serves as the DECA Judges Coordinator , responsible for recruiting volunteer judges for the regional levels for DECA competition.  She is currently a member of the Southern Colorado Heritage Center and  serves as Chair of the Board for Crossroads Turning Points, Inc.
